Refreshment Vehicles

You must have a license to operate a refreshment vehicle in the Township of North Frontenac.  For more information, view our Refreshment Vehicle Licensing By-law for more information on how refreshment vehicles are licensed and regulated in the Township of North Frontenac on the Township's Civic Web Portal where all Township By-laws are e-published.

 Applying for a Licence
Please send completed Refreshment Vehicle Applications, and all necessary approvals to the Chief Building Official (CBO) at cbo@northfrontenac.ca or 613-479-2231 Ext. 224.  All applications are reviewed by the CBO.  If your application is approved, you will be notified by the CBO.  Upon full payment you will receive a refreshment vehicle license.

The fee(s) associated with the placement of a Refreshment Vehicle are as set out in Schedule 'R' of the Fees and Charges By-law as follows:

Agreement for the Use of Refreshment Vehicles on Township Property for less than 72 Hours

Per By-Law, a Refreshment Vehicle located at a Township owned Community Hall or other Township Property which has been rented by an individual and approved by the Manager of Community Development (MCD) (in consultation with the CAO) for a Special Event lasting less than 72 hours, subject to an Agreement signed by both Parties, to ensure applicable documentation is provided, may be permitted. Application and Rules.
